Christine Astorino
Christine Astorino is the founder and CEO of fathom, a research, design, and strategy firm that uses a unique blend of art and science to deepen our understanding of people as customers, stakeholders, users and human beings. Fathom’s main goal is to connect people emotionally with an experience, whether through designed environments, brands, products, or services. Evolved from an architectural firm and launched in 2003, fathom has been highly applauded by clients and peers in the markets of healthcare, higher education, sports and entertainment, urban design, hospitality, non-profits, and finance.
With almost a decade of experience in Landscape Architecture, Ms. Astorino’s portfolio of work includes projects throughout the U.S., Europe, and New Zealand, including: the Chapel of the Holy Spirit, Vatican City, Italy; Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, the new Penguins Consol Energy Arena, and PNC Park in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Civico Transplant Hospital, Palermo, Sicily. She is on Penn State’s steering committee for The H. Campbell and Eleanor R. Stuckeman School of Architecture and Landscape Architecture advisory board.
