A Celebration of James van Sweden, Landscape Architect - New York, NY

In celebration of James van Sweden’s life and work, as well as the publication of his latest book, The Artful Garden (James van Sweden and Tom Christopher, Random House, 2011), TCLF will host a screening of selections from the van Sweden oral history project, followed by a panel discussion with clients, colleagues and friends, and a book signing at New York University’s Cantor Film Center on Wednesday, March 16th at 5:30pm.

The panel discussion will include: Tom Christopher, Co‐Author of The Artful Garden, gardener and writer; Suman Sorg, FAIA, Chief Designer of Sorg and Associates in Washington, D.C.; Frank Castagna, Chairman of Castagna Realty Co, Inc.; Carole Rosenberg, co‐owner of the Rosenberg Gallery and Alex Rosenberg Fine Art.

This event is free and open to the public, courtesy of generous support from Charles Luck and Seibert & Rice and sponsorship by the New York Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects, the Horticultural Society of New York, New York Botanical Garden, and New York Restoration Project, but space is limited and reservations are required, so please RSVP below.
