Annette Wilkus, FASLA

Annette Wilkus, FASLA , RLA, LEED AP has over 30 years of experience in design, construction documentation and construction management.  She graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a Bachelor of Science Landscape Architecture; the University of Pennsylvania with a Master of Landscape Architecture, and holds a certificate in Construction Management from New York University. Her passion is construction, which led to the founding of SiteWorks Landscape Architecture, a landscape architecture firm that has managed the construction of many of the world’s most recognized, beloved, and often technically challenging landscape initiatives. During her career, Ms. Wilkus has worked side by side with the world’s leading landscape architects as the landscape architecture construction specialist who has brought their designs to life. She is proud to have been part of the construction management teams for such award-winning projects as Teardrop Park, The Museum of Jewish Heritage, all three sections of the High Line, and the recently opened Hunters Point South Park. She is currently working on Governors Island Park and Public Space, the centerpiece of New York’s waterfront revitalization effort.

Ms. Wilkus is past president and past trustee of the New York chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA). She recently completed a two years of service as the vice president of professional practice for ASLA National. She lectures frequently to universities and at ASLA’s national conferences on aspects of construction management, including blended soils, hardscapes, and plantings.
