David Almeida

Based on Long Island, New York, David is a photographer with twenty years of professional experience in the heritage sector. His formal training was in traditional analog photography with a focus on medium and large format. His professional experience has predominately consisted of digital photography using high-end digital equipment and software to create accurate, quality digital images. Additionally, he has extensive experience with photo editing and retouching. He also offers videography services that weave in imagery and sound to result in visual storytelling. His work has been published in journals and magazines such as Architectural Digest, Hyperallergic, Antiques and Fine Art magazine, The Art Newspaper, Oud Holland, and in various publications for MoMA, Wolfsonian-FIU, Vizcaya Museum and Gardens, and Planting Fields Foundation. Eddee Daniel

Eddee Daniel is a photographer, writer and retired educator devoted to connecting people to nature within an urban context. He is a board member of Preserve Our Parks and curates their website and blog at awealthofnature.org. Eddee has produced several books on the importance, beauty and need to protect what he calls the Urban Wilderness. His latest book, “The Milwaukee River Greenway: A Wealth of Nature in the Heart of the City,” was the result of a two-year artist residency with River Revitalization Foundation. Barrett Doherty

After graduating from the University of Virginia, where he enrolled in the NROTC program, Doherty served in Yokosuka, Japan as the Communications Department Division Officer. He first worked as a photographer professionally in Tokyo, Japan, and then in New York City. Following graduate studies in landscape architecture at the University of Pennsylvania, Weitzman School of Design, he worked at The Cultural Landscape Foundation. Emily Followill

From her art education, Emily Followill cultivated a style that remains concise, crisp, and classic. Her balanced and carefully curated photos tell a story, and she is recognized for her natural quality of light. James Reid

James Reid is a non-practicing conservation architect and passionate advocate for built heritage. He has provided heritage photographic documentation to private clients and government agencies for many sites in and around Alberta; including a detailed photographic recording of the final existing conditions of five unique structures prior to their demolition at the decommissioned Currie Barracks military base in Calgary, Alberta. Currently, James is engaged in utilizing a completely different set of skills building a steel string acoustic guitar by hand. Allen Russ

Allen Russ is a Washington DC based landscape photographer and exhibiting artist specializing in photographing the natural and built environments. His photographs have been published in Landscape Architect Magazine, Home & Design, Style 1900, Fine Homebuilding Magazine and New Old House and have garnered design awards for both landscape architects and architects alike. In 2011, Allen's photographs of Wilderness Battlefield appeared on the cover of The Cultural Landscape Foundation’s Landslide 2011 calendar and were featured in their 2012 calendar as well. In addition to his landscape work, Allen’s architectural photography is represented by Hoachlander-Davis Photography, LLC, one of Washington DC’s premier architectural photography firms. He is a Co-Founder of www.photographingspaces.com, and is a regular speaker and educator on the subject of architectural photography and digital imaging and was a co-presenter at both the 2012 National AIA Convention in Washington DC and the 2014 National AIA Convention in Chicago. Currently, Allen is working on a book project: City of Trees: The Natural Monuments of Washington DC with the goal of assisting the Trust for the National Mall in raising funds for the restoration and maintenance of The National Mall. City of Trees has been exhibited in solo shows at the Carroll Square Gallery and Vastu, as well as in several group exhibitions around Washington DC. It was the featured project at the 2012 FotoDC Cherry Blossom Central exhibit in the Edison Place Gallery and won first place in the series category of the 2012 FotoWeekDC’s annual Cherry Blossom Photography Contest.
