Edward Daugherty was the first and most important of a new generation of practitioners in the southeast following World War II.

His six decade career ranges from small gardens and estates to colleges, cultural institutions, religious properties, and environmentally sensitive large developments. In this interview, Daugherty reflects on his life, the city of Atlanta, his career, and such notable projects as Georgia's Governor's mansion.
