Tour of the Cheekwood Landscape

Millennium Park

Cheekwood Tour

The Cheek home and its gardens were designed by landscape architect Bryant Fleming in the late 1920’s – one of 11 projects  in the City. Fleming’s career reached its zenith in the 1920s and 1930s at Cheekwood and the Belle Meade suburb of Nashville where he was involved with numerous projects. Cheekwood was his most comprehensive commission – a 100-acre Country Place Era estate where Fleming not only planned and executed the landscape, but also contributed to its architecture and interior design.  This tour is a rare opportunity to tour the Cheekwood landscape with landscape architect Ben Page, a Tennessee native who has been working at the historic property for many years, along with its President and CEO, Dr. Jack Becker
