Roger Bruce
Tree Peony Collection

Roger Bruce became a serious student of media in 1970 when came to the Rochester Institute of Technology for an MFA working in photography and film. He has remained an avid media diarist— albeit exhibiting only rarely. Mr. Bruce currently serves as Director of Interpretation for George Eastman House where he supervises its Education Department, collections information, and information services. He is especially interested in the challenges faced by image archives in facilitating research among the unsteady meanings and references captured in the photographic image.
