SELF-DRIVE TOUR
Spotlight on Northern California Modernism:
San Francisco and Marin County

9:30am – 4:30pm

This self-drive tour will visit public spaces and private gardens designed by several of the “modernists” profiled in by Saturday’s speakers. The tour will include work by Robert Royston and Lawrence Halprin. Accompanying the group will be landscape architects, historians, authors and others who will share their impressions on these landscapes.
Starting location and directions will be provided at the Saturday Symposium. Carpools will be arranged for the Marin segment.
