Landscapes for Living: Post War Years in Texas, Dallas Museum of Art, May 6-8, 2010

The first 2010 installment in this national series that places a critical spotlight on influential landscape architects of the 20th century will take place May 6-8 in Dallas and Fort Worth, Texas.

Landscapes for Living will place a focus on the unique Post War legacy of public and private landscapes in Texas during what is now thought to be an optimistic time of innovation and experimentation.  Nationally recognized speakers from the public and private sectors and the academic community will provide rare insight and analysis of this unprecedented era of design. The symposium will look both back and ahead, culminating in a panel discussion which explores what this design legacy and Modern design means in the 21st century.
