Landscape designer Kongjian Yu, pioneer of the “sponge city” concept, receives the 2023 Oberlander Award

Yu was selected by the international Oberlander Prize jury, which recognized him as “a force for progressive change in landscape architecture around the world.” Organized biennially, the award aims to recognize and give visibility to landscape architecture and the ways in which it can address issues related to climate change and sustainability.
