In recognition of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the National Park Service (NPS), The Cultural Landscape Foundation (TCLF) and the NPS are partnering to document nationally significant landscapes in five cities. The first of five interactive online guides, the What’s Out There Cultural Landscapes Guide to Philadelphia was published in the Spring of 2016, followed by the What's Out There Cutlural Landscapes Guide to New York, What's Out There Cultural Landscapes Guide to Boston, What's Out There Cultural Landscapes Guide to Richmond, VA, and What's Out There Cultural Landscapes Guide to Baltimore.
In addition, TCLF has created a guide to Washington, D.C.'s modernist landscape architecture, the first guide dedicated to a specific landscape style. To date, TCLF has produced twenty city and regional guides, all of which can be accessed here.
