For this work and influence, Yu has just been awarded the top honor in the field of landscape architecture. He is the second laureate of the Cornelia Hahn Oberlander International Landscape Architecture Prize, a $100,000 award issued every two years by the Cultural Landscape Foundation (TCLF), a non-profit focused on landscape heritage and education.
