Dustin Bullard, ASLA
Senior Vice President of Public Space and Design, Downtown Dallas, Inc.
Since Dustin Bullard, ASLA, joined Design for Downtown Dallas, Inc. (DDI) in March of 2011, he has worked tirelessly to ensure Downtown is well-designed, clean, and vibrant. Bullard oversees and influences major planning, development, and mobility initiatives as he seeks to improve cleanliness and activation. With his unique experience in both planning and operations, he understands how spaces can change – and how designs should evolve.
As Downtown Dallas continues to transform, Bullard’s leadership has influenced the renovation of both public and private spaces. Most notably, he has been very involved in the AT&T Discovery District, a $100 million corporate campus renovation focused on thoughtful public space and re-engaged street-level retail.
A licensed landscape architect, Bullard previously worked in private practice designing parks, trails, and open spaces throughout Dallas/Fort Worth. Living in Downtown for fifteen years has led to a deep connection to the neighborhood. One of Bullard’s main goals is to listen to his neighbors and promote growth in his neighborhood.
