During that time the Foundation oversaw the design and construction of Belo Garden, which was identified in the original “Downtown Parks Master Plan (2004).” In October 2015, The Belo Foundation was reconstituted as Parks for Downtown Dallas in order to focus all of its resources on the development of and advocacy for downtown parks. Before joining The Belo Foundation, Meadows served as executive director of Social Venture Partners Dallas and as director of communications for Fidelity Investments Southwest. She has been active in the Dallas nonprofit community for more than 25 years and is married with two children and a dog. She is a proud Texan, having earned her undergraduate degree from The University of Texas at Austin and master’s degree from University of North Texas.
