‘What’s Out There Weekend San Diego’ offers guided tours of local parks, plazas and landmarks — and it’s all free

On Saturday and Sunday, the national Cultural Landscape Foundation is sponsoring “What’s Out There Weekend San Diego,” a two-day deep-dive into the places that shape our corner of the world. The event features a full weekend of free, expert-led tours of more than two dozen of some of San Diego’s most noteworthy cultural and historical landscapes. From Mission Trails Regional Park and the Leo Carrillo Ranch Historic Park to the Torrey Pines Gliderport and Barrio Logan, “What’s Out There Weekend San Diego” will put you where you want to be.
