Landscape Architecture of Lawrence Halprin, Through Dec. 31 at A+D Museum:  On the 100th anniversary of Lawrence Halprin’s birth, the Arts District’s A+D Museum pays tribute to the architect with a photographic exhibition of his life and works. Halprin has left a remarkable legacy in the field of landscape design, with highlights such as the Franklin Delano Roosevelt Memorial in Washington, D.C., and the Freeway Park in Seattle. He’s been active in Downtown L.A. too, having worked on the Bunker Hill Steps and Grand Hope Park. The exhibition is curated by the Cultural Landscape Foundation. At 900 E. Fourth St. or aplusd.org.
