McCobb Spite House — Rockport, Maine 

Once his stately new acquisition arrived in Rockport and sited on a new foundation, Dodge extended on the original structure and commissioned elaborate gardens to be built on the grounds, which have been recognized by The Cultural Landscape Foundation. The home was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1974.
