Landscapes for Living: Post War Landscape Architecture in Georgia

-
Atlanta, GA

Georgia Landscapes for Living will place a focus on the unique Post War legacy of public and private landscapes during what is now thought to be an optimistic time of innovation and experimentation. Nationally recognized speakers from the public and private sectors and the academic community will provide rare insight and analysis of this unprecedented era of design – from parks and plazas to gardens and subdivisions. The symposium will look both back and ahead, culminating in a panel discussion which explores what this Modern landscape legacy means in the 21st century design and historic preservation community.

The program includes a full day of lectures, a catered lunch, and a closing reception hosted by Cherokee Garden Library.
