Oliver Ranch Art Tour and Luncheon
Registration is now closed for this exclusive excursion in the Sonoma hills.
Oliver Ranch is home to 18 site specific art installations tucked into the beautiful Sonoma County hills at the 100-acre ranch of Steve and Nancy Oliver. Their estate has been transformed from a sheep ranch into a sculpture ranch by the work of artists such as Richard Serra, Bruce Nauman, Ann Hamilton, and Andy Goldsworthy. The Olivers have allowed these artists free reign to create works unencumbered by deadline, budget or patron's expectations.
This tour will cover approximately 2 miles, with 600 feet of up and down elevation change. The tour is not wheelchair accessible and sturdy walking shoes are recommended. Visitors will meet nearby the ranch to take a bus to and from the ranch site. Following the 2.5 hour tour, there will be a lunch and garden tour at the vineyard home of Alexis Woods and Daniel Donahoe in nearby Healdsburg. Taste local wines of the Dry Creek Valley and enjoy a buffet catered in their outdoor courtyard. Dessert will be part of a garden tour of the larger estate shared with Clos du Bois winery, Kay Woods. Tickets are limited and all sales will go directly to benefit The Cultural Landscape Foundation. More photos.
