Federal judge grants preliminary injunction in fight over Mary Miss' Greenwood Park art

According to a news release from The Cultural Landscape Foundation, Judge Stephen Locher said, “The Art Center cannot demolish the artwork without Miss’s consent (which she will not grant) because the Art Center promised in a contract not to do so. The court therefore must grant Miss’ motion for preliminary injunction insofar as it seeks to prevent the Art Center from tearing down the artwork.”
