Join TCLF and Anne Penniman to experience this award-winning 1.5-acre oceanfront landscape. The project began with an informal competition between three architecture firms to re-envision the property's 1930s shingle-style house. Collaborators and spouses, architect George Penniman and landscape architect Anne Penniman won the competition with a proposal to preserve, rather than demolish, the structure and create a seamless connection between the house and the complex surrounding landscape.

The ensuing project required extensive site planning expertise, including lifting the house and rotating it twelve degrees to capture better views, and fully renovating the interiors. The resulting harmonious site design showcases spectacular ocean views while offering privacy from the busy adjacent road, with native plants and stone enhancing the landscape surrounding the home. The project received Connecticut ASLA's Merit Award in 2010.

This Garden Dialogue will be led by Anne Penniman of Anne Penniman Associates LLC and George Penniman of Penniman Architects LLC.

^{Up to two (2) weeks in advance: 50% (Deduction represents administrative processing fees)}

^{No refunds will be made for cancellations thirteen (13) days prior to event}

^{No refunds will be made for “No Shows” (a person who registers for a program but who does not cancel registration or attend the program).}

^{Refunds will be processed as they are received or after the conclusion of the program, depending on the program date and when cancellation occurs. Refunds may take five (5) to seven (7) business days to process.}
