The fall foliage in Aspen is breathtaking, especially at the Highlands Retreat, a residential property nestled within the canopy of an aspen forest high in the alpine valley. Get exclusive access to this exceptional property and hear the fascinating story about this project’s creation in a conversation between the landscape architect, architect, contractor, and client during Garden Dialogues.
Designed by Design Workshop, the landscape features a rich palette of native grasses, herbaceous flowering plants, and wildflowers, and merges almost imperceptibly with the surrounding forest and meadow to imbue a sense of peace, permanence and resilience.
This event will be led by Design Workshop’s Principal Darla Callaway, and Director of DW Legacy Design Margaret Plumb, with Architect Cristof Eigelberger, General Contractor Briston Peterson, and Landscape Contractor Brett Seubert.

Refund Policy
Cancellations and Refunds will be granted according to the following schedule:
Up to two (2) weeks in advance: 50% (Deduction represents administrative processing fees)
No refunds will be made for cancellations thirteen (13) days prior to event
No refunds will be made for “No Shows” (a person who registers for a program but who does not cancel registration or attend the program).
Refunds will be processed as they are received or after the conclusion of the program, depending on the program date and when cancellation occurs. Refunds may take five (5) to seven (7) business days to process.
