Join TCLF, Jeff Allen principal of J A L A Jeff Allen Landscape Architecture LLC, and landscape gardener and plant expert Sprigg Parker, for a unique Garden Dialogue exploring the landscape of an Arts & Crafts revival home garden that was carefully planned and executed over five years. During this exclusive residential garden tour, the secrets behind the creation of the garden will be revealed.
The home was designed by Acanthus Architecture and inspired by the work of 20th-century American architects Greene & Greene. J A L A designed a motor court, front walkway, perimeter columns, iron fencing, and gates, composing a series of garden rooms. The motor court, constructed with gray exposed aggregate concrete and granite cobblestone, is framed by a light brick retaining wall with overflowing panicle hydrangeas. A staircase leads up and around the side of the home, coming to an open-air entertaining alcove and covered dining space.
