A new international landscape architecture award, created by an American foundation, will be awarded every two years from 2021 and will be endowed with a reward of $ 100,000.

The prize will be based on the Pritzker prize model for architects - considered the "Architecture Nobel" - and will be named after Canadian Cornelia Hahn Oberlander, considered one of the most influential landscape architects of the twentieth century.

It was created by the non-governmental organization The Cultural Landscape Foundation, created in 1998 and based in Washington.
