What’s Out There Project Becomes Media Hit
Since its launch in October, the What’s Out There designed landscape database has garnered unprecedented media attention, with coverage in more than 40 media outlets. Since being picked up by The Associated Press earlier this month, the project has been featured in publications across the country including the Atlanta Constitution Journal, Charleston Daily Mail, El Paso Times, Oakland Tribune, Washington Examiner and in dozens of blogs and radio spots including Washington, D.C.’s WAMU Radio. The project has also been covered by publications in Australia and Canada. The media coverage led to a nearly 100% spike in visits to TCLF’s website in the first week of coverage.
The What’s Out There project is meant to serve as a reference for students and teachers of design and history, enthusiasts, and professionals, provoking interest, informing stewardship decisions, and we invite you to communicate with us by telling us What’s Out There.
