Artist's courtyard creation at NJ offices doomed

The state of New Jersey has decided to tear up a large, deteriorating work of landscape architecture built on a plaza at its environmental protection agency more than 25 years ago as part of an arts competition, replacing it with a new courtyard that officials say will be greener and easier to maintain.
