On par with Pritzker? D.C. foundation establishes $100,000 landscape architecture prize.

The D.C.-based Cultural Landscape Foundation has established a prize that will carry with it an award on par with architecture’s top honor. And that's exactly the point.

The Cornelia Hahn Oberlander International Landscape Architecture Prize will be awarded biennially beginning in 2021. The award: $100,000, equal to that of the Pritzker Prize.
