George Anderson is a partner in Anderson Benson Insurance in Nashville, Tennessee. He graduated from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, in 1985 and also completed the Wharton Executive Leadership Development Program. He is the chair of the Metropolitan Nashville Parks and Recreation Board as well as chair of the Mayor's Centennial Park Master Plan Committee. Recently, George was chair of the Conservancy of the Parthenon and Centennial Park and served on the board for thirteen years. He also served on the board of The Cultural Landscape Foundation from 2010 to 2012.
