TCLF Welcomes 2023 Boasberg Fellow
TCLF is proud to announce Janelle D'Avignon as the 2023 Sally Boasberg Founder's Fellow, selected from a pool of highly competitive applicants. Janelle graduated from Ohio State University’s Knowlton School of Architecture this Spring with a bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture. She received an honors distinction in landscape and honors research after completing a year-long independent senior research project. Her academic career was guided by a passion for community engagement and pushing the boundaries of what we do towards a wider cross-sector collaboration.
Janelle impressed the TCLF staff with a portfolio of photographs taken during her study abroad term in Cambridge, England, last summer. Janelle will be using her photography skills and keen eye for landscapes this summer to document sites for What's Out There Cleveland, capturing the region's distinctive parks, gardens, historic sites, trails, and neighborhoods. Her work will be prominently featured in the What's Out There Cleveland digital city guide as well as in the printed guidebook.
Funding for the Sally Boasberg Founder’s Fellowship comes from investments and generous donations from a network of Sally’s family, friends, and colleagues as well from TCLF Board members. Learn more about Sally Boasberg and the Boasberg Fellowship.
