About Exhibitions
Every year since 2006, in tandem with the Landslide program, TCLF has produced an online exhibition featuring newly commissioned photography, informative narratives about the sites and the theme, and avenues for public involvement. TCLF also periodically produces traveling photographic exhibitions, also in tandem with the Landslide program, that illustrate the year’s threatened and at-risk sites, some of which are available for booking. The first traveling exhibition was produced in 2007, Heroes of Horticulture, followed by Marvels of Modernism (2008), Every Tree Tells a Story (2010), The Landscape Architecture Legacy of Dan Kiley (2013), The New American Garden: The Landscape Architecture of Oehme, van Sweden (2015), and, finally, The Landscape Architecture of Lawrence Halprin (2016).
Exhibitions available for booking and actively seeking future engagements include: The Landscape Architecture Legacy of Dan Kiley, The New American Garden: The Landscape Architecture of Oehme, van Sweden, and The Landscape Architecture of Lawrence Halprin.
Each traveling exhibition features photographs of significant public and private projects, narratives about the individual sites and the theme being explored and full-color gallery guides. Thanks to a generous, anonymous donor, discounted rental rates are available to all CELA-member universities with suitable exhibition space.
