Saugatuck Dunes Site Garners National Conservation Alert Citation

Efforts by conservationist David Swan and his Saugatuck Dunes Cultural Alliance to preserve pristine dune land near the mouth of the Kalamazoo River were boosted yesterday when The Cultural Landscape Foundation noted the two thousand-acre site in its annual list of a dozen at-risk natural areas nationwide.
