Pioneer Information
Created when Henry Codman was added as a partner to the firm of F.L. and J.C. Olmsted, this iteration of the Olmsted firm was cut short by the tragic death of Codman in 1893, while they were working on the World's Columbian Exposition in Chicago. Later that same year, Charles Eliot joined Frederick Law Olmsted, Sr. and John Charles Olmsted to form Olmsted, Olmsted, and Eliot.
