Chuck Flink, FASLA, PLA

Chuck Flink, FASLA, PLA, is an award-winning author, landscape architect, and environmental planner. He is widely regarded as one of America’s leading greenway planners and designers, having completed work in 250 communities in 37 states. He has provided consulting services to international clients in Asia, Canada, Europe, and South America. A graduate of North Carolina State University’s College of Design (Bachelor of Environmental Design in Landscape Architecture 1982, M.L.A. 2017), he currently serves as Executive-in-Residence at the College. Mr. Flink is former a three-term chair of American Trails and five-term chair of the East Coast Greenway Alliance. He currently chairs the North Carolina State University Board of Visitors, which advises Chancellor Randy Woodson. Mr. Flink also serves on the North Carolina State University Alumni Board of Directors. He is a co-author of Greenways: A Guide to Planning, Design and Development, and Trails for the Twenty-First Century. He authored the American Tobacco Trail master plan.
